How long has it been...**EDITED**

since you've taken a test?

For me it was just last week...but I'm sure it's been longer for some...so here is a fun test for you.

I will post the answers on Thursday. Good luck!

**If you want to, place your answers in the comment section, it can be somewhat of a contest, and the first with the correct answers will win a "prize" (the prize being recognition as the winner in a post on this blog:) I would just love to see the answers you all come up with...I will admit I did not do very well at all!**

#1. You are participating in a race. You overtake the second person. What position are you in?

#2. If you overtake the last person, than you are?

**The third question must be done in your head...no paper or calculator!**

#3. Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Add another 1000. Now add 10. What is the total?

#4. Mary's father has five daughters: Nana, Nene, Nini, Nono. What is the name of the fifth daughter?

Bonus Round:

A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done. Next, a blind man comes into the shop who wants to buy a pair of sunglasses; how does he indicate what he wants?

Guess that decade...

  • Olan Mills backdrop #4 - peaceful meadow with split rail fence...very popular

  • Powder blue leisure suit...very popular

  • the "Grizzly Adams" look... popular

  • Dorothy Hamil haircut...very, very popular

  • shirts with extremely pointy collars...popular (but, very dangerous...you could poke an eye out with those things, seriously!!)

    Any guesses?

This is an easy one folks...

    ...it is the 70's!!!

I located this photo after receiving a very hilarious e mail today! Our family was so guilty of the "Olan Mills photo craze" in the 70's! I will say that we all do match very well, very "put-together", way to go mom! I will actually admit that this is one of the photos from my childhood in which my outfit does not make me cringe!

I just thought you all might like to get a good chuckle at our expense, because, as you know, laughing is good for your health. So...chuckle away!!
